Vladislav Andreev on Mental Health, Leadership, and Psychedelics
I recently had the pleasure of joining the High On Healthy podcast — a platform exploring the intersection of psychedelics, wellness, and conscious living — to discuss mental health in leadership, trauma, and the therapeutic potential of psychedelics.
During the conversation, I shared how modern leaders often face chronic stress, emotional overload, and disconnection from self, and why addressing mental health is no longer optional — it’s foundational to sustainable leadership.

Main Body

In our discussion, I explored the O!Sapiens Framework, a model I developed to help individuals and organizations navigate the growing mental health crisis through awareness, self-regulation, and meaningful integration.
We spoke about:
  • 🌿 Deep-rooted societal trauma — especially in post-Soviet and high-performance cultures where emotional expression has been historically suppressed.
  • 💡 Leadership and stress — how unresolved trauma and constant overdrive affect decision-making, empathy, and long-term resilience.
  • 🧘‍♂️ Simple, powerful solutions — such as controlled breathing, proper nutrition, rest, and daily rituals that restore balance.
As a psychedelic coach and educator, I also highlighted how psychedelics can catalyze healing and neuroplasticity, helping individuals break rigid psychological patterns. However, the core message I emphasized was this:
The real transformation begins after the experience — through conscious integration, daily practice, and community support.
We discussed how each phase of the psychedelic process — preparation, facilitation, and integration — plays a crucial role in ensuring safety, growth, and long-term change.

Conversations like this remind us that healing is not a trend — it’s a responsibility. By combining evidence-based approaches with compassion, mindfulness, and self-awareness, we can create a healthier paradigm for leadership and human development.
