Who is a Psychedelic Coach?

A psychedelic coach holds you accountable and helps you become a better version of yourself. The novelty here lies in the application of psychedelics. However, don’t expect your coach to become your dealer—that's not how it works. A psychedelic coach is someone with substantial theoretical and practical knowledge about entheogenic substances and harm reduction. This person knows how to minimize risks when dealing with these medicines and is aware of their potential benefits in the coaching practice.

How Do Psychedelics Help?

Entheogens are meaning enhancers. They help speed up and foster desired change due to a concept called neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity has become a buzzword, but it remains highly significant.

How Does It Work?

Entheogens create a period of rapid learning, akin to opening a window for change. This period can involve acquiring new skills or information, changing internal thought processes, reshaping worldviews, adjusting relationships, fixing harmful behavior patterns, and more.

The Role of Psychedelics

While these substances act as catalysts, the work is still on you. Psychedelics are not a magic pill that will make everything the way you want. Anyone can achieve desired changes in thinking, acquire new skills, and alter internal perceptions with intention and effort. You don’t really need entheogens for that. It’s just they speed things up.

What to Expect from a Psychedelic Coach?

  1. Preparation: Extensive preparation is key. This involves conversations about the medicine, harm reduction education, setting intentions, defining goals, understanding obstacles, and grasping the context. 1 hour of preparation = 10 hours of integration.

  2. Session: Due to legal aspects, sessions cannot be conducted just anywhere. There are countries where the use of entheogens is either decriminalized or legalized.

  3. Integration: This represents the hard work you must do. The coach guides, supports, and steers you toward your goals during the integration process.

Remember, under no circumstance should a coach impose their thinking on you. A coach appeals to your inner wisdom, holding space for change and supporting you on your journey.
